Shelby Years> 1969-70 Shelby Mustangs
Last year for the Shelby Mustang was 1969. Now based on the new Mustang SportsRoof and convertible body styles, new design of the Shelby Mustang shared little resemblance to the production Mustang. The GT350 and GT500 still available at fastback or convertible.
The interface design in Shelby el'69 was shared completely new. Both defenses and the carpet fiber glass and created a large rectangular grille opening which took two lighthouses 7 inches. Below the bumper, Luke foglamps were mounted. The bell contained three firsts forward NASA, the center of an air supply to the engine intake system. Also at the bell were two rear-facing firsts. Brake firsts can be found on the front defenses, as well as the rear, the entire supply of air to the brakes. Rear firsts can be found in convertible assembled below in order to avoid any interference with the convertible top mechanism. '65 Thunderbird taillights were used, and a single exhaust manifold aluminum left in the middle below the bumper.
Side stripes can be found in any of the two models with GT350 or GT500 letters on the front fender in front of the brake lever in front of the fireplace. Snake emblems can be found behind the windows in the rear and on the left side of the front grille. In addition, Cobra Jet emblems, like the ones found in the 68 GT500KR, were used in the GT500 front defenses.

The inside of the Shelby was once again producing the Mustang Deluxe group of interior decoration, either black or white, with identification of Shelby door panels, steering wheel and passengers of the script. The console housed two two meters higher Stewart Warner, oil and amps, along with two switches to change foglamps and courtesy lights. The toolkit which contains a 8000-rpm tachometer, 140 mph of speed and fuel gauges. The Shelby GT350 arrived with the 290hp 4-V version of the production of 351 Windsor. The only difference being an aluminum intake manifold and valve covers Cobra. The Shelby GT500 used 428CJ-R with all variations encountered in the regular Mustang.
As with the Mach 1, competition suspension, transmission and rear axle are all options on Shelby. The only 15x7-inch aluminum wheels had a center section welded to a steel chrome rim. Standard E70x15 tyres, and although most of the cars comes with the F60x15 Goodyear Polyglas WGs.
Some other standard features are power steering, disc brakes front of power, four-speed manual transmission.
Around 789 were Shelbys unsold in 1969. These cars were "updated" and sold as 1970 models to change the VIN showing 1970 as the model year. Changes in el'70 also included double bell black stripes and a type chin spoiler Boss 302.

The heads> 1969 Mustang Boss
Beginning in 1969, Ford introduced the Boss 302 and Boss 429. Style for the Boss 302 was conducted by Larry Shinoda, suspension by Kar Kraft, and the engine was made by Ford, which used the block 5.0L with the new 351 heads of Cleveland. Originally, the leader was becoming the "Trans Am" until he discovered that Ford and GM had licensed the name.

The Boss is based on SportsRoof body, but the simulation side scoops were deleted from the model. Flat black paint was used on the hood, rear deck and taillight panel, and lighting cubes. The Mustang Boss was only available in four colors: White Wimbledon, Bright Yellow, and Blue Coral Calypso Acapulco. On the other side of the car, a large C-band with letters Boss 302 is. Although a variety of colors were offered for the interior of the Boss 302, black standard is often used. A front chin spoiler was standard, but the rear window slats and plastic rear wing are options.

The Boss 302 was rated at 290 horsepower, but the current horsepower is more like 350. Insurance companies began to penalize cars that were rated more than 300 hp. The race versions made over more than 450 horsepower at 8000 rpm. All 302s came with a four-speed manual transmission (2.78:1).
The standard wheels on the Boss 302 were painted 15x7 argent Magnum 500s planted within F60x15 Goodyear Polyglas tires. Chrome Magnum 500s were an option.
In response to the great success with the Chrysler 426 Hemi in Nascar, Ford produced the Boss 429. All Boss 429's were built in Brighton, Michigan, where the facility is located Kar Kraft. In order for the Mustang to receive 429 engine partially SportsRoof Mustangs, which were built to accept 428SCJ were changed. One was KK sticker inside the driver's door above the plate at each warranty Ford Boss 429, this means Kar Kraft production series. The 1969 Boss 429 is available in five colors: White Wimbledon, Royal Maroon, Black Crow, Black Jade, and Candy Apple Red.
