1974 Ford Mustang II

'74 Mustang II was the first Mustang that come with a 4-cylinder engine, which was used until 1993. The 2.3L (140 cu.in.) was a bored and stroked version of the 2.0L used until the'73 Pinto. The only engine for facultativo'74 was a 2.8L V-6. This German-built V-6 derived from the European Capri 2.6L V-6. Whether a 4-speed manual transmission or an optional 3-speed automatic can be used with any of the engines. For the first time, a V-8 was not available in a Mustang, as emphasized in the economy instead of execution. Despite this, the'74 II sells very well, coming within 10% of the original Mustang 12 months of turnover.'74 II sold more than a year after 1967 Mustang, Mustang and has not sold more units since then. Part of the reason for this success was the Arab oil embargo of 1973-74.

With the shortage of petrol, motorists need more fuel efficient cars, and V-8 engines ended up taking second place for a while. Mustang II offered 4 models to choose from: a 2-door coupe, 3-door hatchback, the Ghia 2-door coupe, which will replace the Great as the model of luxury and showed a level vinyl roof, and the 3-door Mach 1 , which appears lower bodyside black paint and 2.8L V-6 as standard equipment. Popular options for 1974 include air conditioning, several radios and cassettes, roof, bodyside moldings, style steel wheels, forged aluminum wheels, and bumper guards.
