Ford Mustang II 1975

1975 Ford Mustang II

For 1975, the Mustang II received requirements unleaded fuel, and a V-8, finally, because of complaints Ford heard from a number of buyers who still want performance, and the end of the oil-embargo. It was 302, which was chosen, estimated at just 122 hp because of the new emissions requirements such as the catalytic converter, which is found on all Mustangs starting dal'75. The V-8 is available only with the automatic transmission. Due to the inclusion of V-8, the front end of the II changed. A thin panel grille opening, and a grid shallower now flush with the opening, to make room for the bigger engine. This change has been applied to all models regardless of the type of engine. New changes for the fourth Ghia rear windows were the work, replacing the standard, and half-vinyl roof, replacing the entire width, which was still available on all coupes as an option. A new option for the package Ghia was the Silver Luxury Group, which was an all-Ghia silver half-vinyl roof, Cranberry fabric interior, and a stand-up hood ornament. New steel-belted radial tires were now standard, which replaces the Bias-belted. Near the end of the production year, the windshield-wiper controls were transferred from the instrument panel for the most convenient turn signal lever, a change that has occurred on many Ford.
